Best and famous Beaches in cebu Bantayan Island white sand beach cebu philippines 2018 better than palawan and boracay
Bantayan Beach is a wonderful, segregated piece of sand that merits spending a day on. It's where you can really unwind and appreciate the quietness existing apart from everything else. The water is perfectly clear to swim.

It's an ideal setting to chip away at your tan since you are far from any pedestrian activity going through.z

ENTRY FEE & HOURS OF OPERATION
The entry fee is 50 pesos for adults and 25 pesos for children. The beach is open from 9 am to 5 pm daily. There is no food or drink available at Bantayan Beach so you will need to bring your own refreshments.

HOW TO GET TO BANTAYAN BEACH

Bantayan Island white beach cebu philippines 2018 map mactan cebu international airport mapYou can get there on a motorbike or by pump boat.
If you plan to take a lot of gear, a cooler, and small children, it’s probably easier to go via pump boat. They’ll deliver you right to the beach. Ask your resort to arrange a pump boat for you. The boat captain will stand by until you’re ready to head back to your room. On a motorbike, you have to park and then walk about ten minutes. It’s an easy walk if you are just carrying a backpack but you wouldn’t want to carry a heavy cooler that far.

Best and famous Beaches in cebu Bounty Island white beach cebu philippines 2018 better than palawan and boracay
Bounty Beach is among the finest in the nation, however, there are more isolated shorelines sitting tight for you to investigate them. The water is ideal for swimming and swimming, and you can lease a swimming veil or bring your own. Has a long extent of white sand shoreline, with bars and eateries scattered around. It is the principle shoreline of the island, and there is no extra charge. It is perfect for chilling around, having a dinner or a tidbit, and going for a restful swim. There are even lofts sticking around that you can lie in them and unwind for nothing.

HOW TO GET TO MALAPASCUA ISLAND ( BOUNTY BEACH)

Bounty Island white beach cebu philippines 2018 map maya new malapascua ferry port

The way to Malapascua is by a public boat from Maya port. There is a public boat that cost 50 PHP that leaves every time it’s getting full. A private boat can cost between 1000-1500 PHP, so if you’re offered a higher price negotiate. In low tide when you take the public boat, there is a guy in small paddle boats that will take you the short distance to the ferry, and they charge 20 PHP, non-negotiable. The last boat leaves around 6 pm, so if the touts tell you otherwise and try persuading you to take a private boat, ignore and tell them you’ll take your chances.
The way to Maya port from Cebu City is via the northern bus terminal, just take a taxi from the airport or a trike from the pier or anywhere close enough in the city itself.
The bus to Maya costs 120-200 PHP, more expensive for air-con buses, and travel time is 4-5 hours. You can also take a taxi and that will save you time (travel time is 2-3 hours) but it’s far more expensive (5,000 PHP), but you can negotiate the price down.

TRAVEL TIPS WHEN TRAVELING TO MALAPASCUA ISLAND

Tips 1 There is no ATM on the island so remember to bring enough cash with you.

Tips 2 Malapascua is good to visit all year round but summer is the best time to do so.

Tips 3 Bring your own medication as there is no pharmacy there.

Tips 4 Bring enough clothes as there aren’t any reasonable laundry services.

Tips 5 Cell phone connection can be sporadic so if it’s better to email the resorts than calling them.

 VIRGIN ISLAND

Best and famous Beaches in cebu Virgin Island white beach cebu philippines 2018 better than palawan and boracay
Virgin Island one of the renowned travel goals on Bantayan Island, Cebu, the Philippines. also staffed exclusive island. However, you don't circumvent the whole island. They have a manicured region where sand and grass are prepared with sufficient cookout cottages, relax seats and lofts. The lofts and parlor seats are free. The shoreline territory has fine white sand much like the Bantayan shorelines. They have a swimming area for angle encouraging, and another segment for 'swimming in the marine asylum'. You are permitted to bring sustenance. I don't know whether they offer anything on the island. The whole region is all around kept up.

Entrance Fee

I asked the staff and even the general manager why the odd fee of Php 250/head for the first 2, then Php 100/pax for the 3rd and subsequent people in the group. Why not just charge a flat fee for every visitor like the conventional practice? No one knew why. They just said that's how the owner wanted it.

Virgin Island Tips

Tips 1 best to bring your water

Tips 2 their mask and snorkel rental of Php 200 is twice as expensive as the mainland rate of  Php 50 (for really badly maintained ones) or Php 100 (for less than perfect ones). Best to rent from the mainland but inspect the equipment thoroughly. The first two masks they gave me had prescription lenses!

Tips 3 there is nothing in Virgin Island in the way of snorkeling or a decent coral reef. I would not suggest you even rent a mask

It is arranged in a little however profound tidal pond over a coral island, called Mabad-on Reef, which is totally submerged amid high tide and uncovered amid low tide. A couple of feet from the shore the ocean bottom step by step dives down to a profundity of a few feet underneath the surface.
